Choir is about learning to be caring for each other through physical and vocal exercises on communication and trust. Being in a choir is learning to build a musical project with the differences of each person, differences that are a richness and that make the presence of each person important.

  • Organization of the course

Music and theatre are two wonderfully complementary arts. As partners, they offer both audiences and artists a complete experience that guarantees unforgettable shows.

In art education, the fusion of these two fields allows students to multiply their experiences for an accomplished training.

That is why, this year, Piano Académie offers a different choir course, associated with the practice of theatre.

In the "Musical/Choral Comedy" course, students will improve their vocal technique while working on their body expression. These courses will allow them to acquire the first notions of theatrical performance based on the study of classical musical theatre works.

Hosted and designed by singer and actress Beatriz Coimbra and pianist and composer Henrique Cantalogo, the course aims to develop students' musical, vocal and physical expression through the joint work of singing and theatrical performance.

In dynamic and fun courses lasting 1h30, the little singer-actors will also have the opportunity to prepare a collective creation that will be presented to the public at the end of each semester.

The proposed time slot for children is Friday at 5pm.
