Music and theatre are two wonderfully complementary arts.
Associated, they offer to the public as well as to the artists, a complete experience that guarantees unforgettable shows. In artistic education, the fusion of these two fields allows students to multiply their experiences for a successful training.
This is why Piano Academy proposes, this year, a different choral course, associated with the practice of theater.
In the « Musical/Choral Comedy » course, students will perfect their vocal technique while working on their body expression. These courses will enable them to acquire the first notions of theatrical interpretation through the study of the classical works of musical theatre.
Liven and designed by the singer and actress Beatriz Coimbra and the pianist and composer Henrique Cantalogo, the course aims to develop the musical, vocal and corporal expression of the students through the joint work of singing and theatrical interpretation.
Organization of the course
In dynamic and fun classes lasting 1h30, the little singer-actors will also have the opportunity to prepare a collective creation that will be presented to the public at the end of each semester.
