Music and theatre are two wonderfully complementary arts.
Associated, they offer to the public as well as to the artists, a complete experience that guarantees unforgettable shows. In artistic education, the fusion of these two fields allows students to multiply their experiences for a successful training.
This is why Piano Academy proposes, this year, a different choral course, associated with the practice of theater.
In the « Musical/Choral Comedy » course, students will perfect their vocal technique while working on their body expression. These courses will enable them to acquire the first notions of theatrical interpretation through the study of the classical works of musical theatre.
Liven and designed by the singer and actress Beatriz Coimbra and the pianist and composer Henrique Cantalogo, the course aims to develop the musical, vocal and corporal expression of the students through the joint work of singing and theatrical interpretation.
In dynamic and fun classes lasting 1h30, the little singer-actors will also have the opportunity to prepare a collective creation that will be presented to the public at the end of each semester.
The time slot for children is Friday at 5pm.

The pleasure of singing together, being part of a group, learning to express and externalize one’s emotions through the voice and imagination.
The choir is learning to be kind to each other through body and vocal exercises on communication and trust. To be in a choir is to learn to build a musical project with the differences of each one, differences which are a richness and which make the presence of each one important.

Course schedules :
The courses take place between September 23, 2020 and June 18, 2021.
Group 5 to 8 years old: Wednesday and Friday at 5pm – duration of the course 1 hour.
Group 9 to 12 years old: Friday at 6pm – duration of the course 1h30
