Group courses (12-17 years old)

Cours collectifs pour les adolescents

New in 2022! Derived from our adult classes, this class is especially designed for children 12 years and older. Teens can meet on their own time slots. The method remains that of our group classes. Here, as for adults, the number of students in the group can be up to 8.

Learning method

The format of this course is derived from our international competition preparation classes. The child follows one hour of work sessions with his teacher and exercise sessions on a digital keyboard. Unlike private lessons, the teacher lets the student repeat the measures without being behind him. The children work individually and choose their own piece. One teacher takes care of 8 students at a time. Music theory can be taught in a separate online course; this course is included in the annual package.

Location of Classes

These classes can only be held at our location. Rue Scheffer : Tuesday 7pm and Friday 7pm. Rue de Richelieu: Monday 7pm and Wednesday 7pm.

Pricing

Customized Master Classes are charged by the hour.

Participation in these classes involves certain constraints that must be agreed upon in advance by the students. No absence from a class will be eligible for a make-up or refund request.

Registration Process

The Teen Enrollment Kit ($242):

The Registration Kit includes what each student needs to attend the school. It includes the following contents:

the annual application fee,
the child’s participation in the end-of-year concert,
the two annual auditions,
a workbook
a transcript from the school

Trial course

This class is not mandatory, but allows you to better understand our method before committing to the school year. We recommend the class to all parents who are new to the school or who are unsure about whether to attend a private or group class.
